What are the latest banking and financial technologies? On May 12-13th, our team attended FinovateSpring 2015 in San Jose and launched Yodlee® Sense, a new data-driven app that delivers personalized and predictive recommendations for digital financial management. It was inspiring to see 72 live demos at FinovateSpring from a diverse range of innovative fintech companies. In addition, it was great to connect with customers leveraging our financial data APIs and partners represented at the conference. Below are some of their exciting announcements:
- Avoka: Digital sales enablement platform created a frictionless customer experience around sales transactions for banks.
- CAN Capital: Alternative small business loan provider announced a $650 million credit facility from twelve banks.
- Dealstruck: Marketplace lending platform unveiled a new Line of Credit Borrower Portal to help SMBs better manage their financing.
- DRAFT: Crowd-sourced investment app showcased its mobile-optimized portfolio management solution for affluent millennials.
- Dwolla: Payment network demonstrated how FiSync works with large financial institutions.
- Kabbage: SMB lender launched a new Kabbage card that provides access to funds at any POS that MasterCard is accepted.
- Xignite: Financial market data API provider recently introduced its FactSet Fundamentals API.
Also, I’d like to congratulate the Best of Show winners: Alpha Payments Cloud, Avoka, Amigo, Moven, NAMU Systems, Shoeboxed and Stratos! On the 1st day of Finovate, CMO David Lee, VP of Product Applications Katy Gibson and VP of Product Marketing John Bird presented Yodlee Sense through an interactive demo of our brand new financial app that delivers personal and predictive recommendations. According to Lee, “Yodlee Sense runs customers’ financial data through its personalization engine. The engine determines customers’ financial income and expense patterns, debt-to-income ratio, and average cash on hand.” For example, Gibson described how “Yodlee Sense creates a financial calendar for you to keep track of income and bills and predict dips before they even happen.” In addition, you can easily transfer funds to your checking account. Currently, Yodlee Sense is available to financial institutions that are looking for data-driven financial management tools with rich mobile and online banking functionality for retail and wealth management consumers. The app enhances customer loyalty by delivering a proactive user experience and provides actionable data for targeted recommendations and increased cross-sell.
